About Alexander Bain & Murray

Alexander Bain & Murray have been established for 50 years, and through their practices in Lurgan, Portadown and Dungannon have become synonymous with professional eye care and designer eyewear.

Although the first priority is the health care of your eyes, the importance of fashion and style is apparent in the huge range of frames available. All the leading designer names are there, from Armani, Christian Dior, Face a Face and Gucci, to Alain Mikli, Yves St Lauren and Polo Ralph Lauren.

To complement these beautiful designer frames, the thinnest, lightest lenses are available in all prescriptions with hard and anti-reflection coatings, together with UV protection coming as standard on many lenses. Quality is assured as lenses are glazed in Alexander Bain & Murray's own state of the art laboratory .

With the latest computer controlled glazing equipment, 'The Lab' is where your glasses will be made exactly to your specifications.

Using the latest technology, and a large stock of frames and lenses, quality is assured, as is punctuality.

For special orders, a direct computer scanner connection with the top manufacturers has been installed to eliminate errors and ensure a highly efficient service.

The glazing staff are specially trained and have a lot of experience in the optical field, as well as in 'The Lab'.

Many prescriptions can be made from stock, so for those in a hurry, they can be made 'while you wait.'
